The vegetable garden is the centre piece of this garden in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat.
« La Merenda » means snack-time in Niçois. Dedicated to the growing of local, seasonal fruit and vegetables, this garden is equipped with a wooden tool shed as well as a pergola to shade a small terrace with a central table where you can stop to taste freshly picked tomatoes, spring onions, artichokes or strawberries. An old-fashioned watering system irrigates the plants with water from above the garden flowing along channels.
